After seven years of venturing for opportunities in the Kapatid and Kapamilya networks, actor Wendell Ramos has finally found his way back to the Kapuso network. The former cast of the gag show “Bubble Gang” honed his acting talent in GMA network for 11 years. However, in 2011 he decided to leave the network and transfer to TV 5.
In an interview with PEP last March 21, Wendell revealed that he was offered a new project by the Kapuso network. He was quoted as to saying,
“Right now, may upcoming deal with GMA. Parang work din again dito. Alam mo naman na lahat kaibigan natin. Yung mga offers, grab lang tayo.”
On the photos that were shared by the GMA network on Instagram yesterday, Wendell can be seen among the casts of the upcoming Kapuso primetime series this April that will be directed by Gina Alajar. Along with him are Kapuso actors and actresses: Gardo Versoza, Nora Aunor, Mikee Quintos, Luis Alandy, Kate Valdez, Enrico Cuenca, and Vaness del Moral.
Wendell’s last appearance on a Kapuso series was in 2011 when he played the role as Nelson Rivera in “Jillian: Namamasko Po”.
According to the 39-year-old actor, he is happy for having the privilege of working with the three networks. Last year, Wendell gained attention for his role as Raul Torillo on the Kapamilya series “Wildflower”.
“I’m thankful and thank you sa ABS na naging parte ako ng Wildflower.”
Moreover, he shared that he had a great experience working with the casts of the show. According to him, even though it’s been months since “Wildflower” has ended, the bond among the casts is going strong.
“Kasi one-year kaming magkakasama…saka good friend ko naman sila even before.”
Wendell admitted that he has a good relationship with his co-stars Vin Abrenica, Joseph Marco, RK Bagatsing, Aiko Melendez,Tirso Cruz, and Maja Salvador.
Furthermore, he admitted that he is now happy and contented with everything that is happening in his life, family, and career.
“I’m happy with my new journey in life.”
Last December 10, Wendell finally tied the knot with his longtime partner Kukai Guevarra. The two are now happily married with their two kids.
“Lahat ng ginagawa ko is not for myself, it’s for my family.”
