After four months of being married, is Anne Curtis finally bearing her first baby? This big question has been going around on social media after netizens caught wind of the “It’s Showtime” host’s weird cravings.
The 33-year-old Kapamilya actress is well-loved for her openness in and out of the studio. Due to her inclination in speaking her mind, Anne Curtis’ life has been an open book for her fans and followers in the industry. Anne also uses her personal Twitter account to share daily snippets from her life.
Earlier this February, Anne Curtis posted a series of tweets that caused controversy among the curious netizens. Way back on February 8, the “It’s Showtime” host jested that she’s craving for a popular Pinoy merienda, banana cue.
Minutes after her first tweet, Anne followed it with another lengthy update which also rang of nostalgia for her favorite merienda when she was a child:
“Or turon? Ung May langka pa pak.
Cravings triggered by eating a señorita banana! Naalala ko ang youth ko. Ang dami ko nabibili sa 10pesos noon.
Uhm hi? erwanheussaff? can you please make me a healthy version of these Filipino banana treats! Maruya din! – tama spelling ko?”
Because of this, many people on Twitter can’t help but wonder if the 33-year-old host is bearing a baby. Craving for food is a common aspect of pregnancy, that’s why people took Anne’s cravings as a positive sign that she’s indeed pregnant.
The news travelled fast and soon enough, Anne caught wind of the rumors and decided to quash it before it even got out of hand. Just an hour after posting her tweets, the actress followed up with another one that ended the queries once and for all.
She vehemently denied the allegations that she was pregnant and insisted that she was simply craving for a classic Pinoy merienda:
“And for those asking, No. Hindi po ako naglilihi Hahahaha. (Although wala namang masama pag yun na un) Pero Hindi pa po talaga. Nag crave Lang talaga ako ng Merienda!”
