PBB alum Aura Azarcon now a licensed doctor

Former housemate Aura Azarcon may have failed to be the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Lucky Season 7, but it’s safe to say that she’s winning at life now that she is finally a licensed doctor. Just recently, the PBB alum shared her evident bliss upon knowing that she passed the Physician Licensure Exam.

“Sapat ka. Kahit ano pa yan, sapat ka. At ngayon, pwede nang humingi sa universe ng bagong mataas na pangarap! Kung kaya nila, kaya ko rin. At kung kaya ko, kaya niyo rin dapat. My heart is full, and I can go on and on. But I also know no madamdaming caption will ever be enough.”

Aura also promised the “universe” to give back after obtaining this feat. She said:
“Thank you very much to all of you! Promise universe, one day I’ll be able to give it all back. Para sa inyo to.”

After her PBB stint, Aura maintained her blog “Make My Day” wherein she muses about her personal experiences, and, of course, her medical encounters. One of her entries was about her days inside the country’s most popular crib, particularly detailing about the “scripted” issue of the reality show.

“It appears to me that we were picked out of thousands who auditioned because our respective backgrounds and personalities fit perfectly in the CHARACTERS they wanted to project. From the start, we already had our roles in the story they wanted to tell.”

She added:

“We were real people put in a reel world, to say the least. That means if some of our actions and reactions were inconsistent with the “character” set for us, the audience will probably not see it on TV.”

Nonetheless, Aura shared that joining the reality show was a positive experience for her and that she had a blast. She also left a message to the avid viewers of the show.

“Let us always remember to just take the show for what it is – a source of entertainment, inspiration, and for a select few, a ticket to a life changed in an instant. And P.S., just because we saw it on TV, and everyone else on Twitter thinks that way, doesn’t mean it’s how it actually happened in real life.”
