Even though Kapuso leading lady Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero have been married for more than three years now, the couple still don’t have children of their own. Yet in a recent interview, Heart Evangelista hinted that they are finally ready to be parents this year.
Aside from her booming career, the 33-year-old is ready to let her hair down and become a full-fledged mother. In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Heart Evangelista claimed that although they are ready for their small bundle of joy, they are not pressured:
“If it happens, it happens. Now, I’m not stopping it from happening. Whenever God wants to give us a baby in His perfect time, then it will happen.”
Believing in the Almighty’s perfect timing, the actress claimed that she is very satisfied with her marriage with Senator Chiz Escudero. Although they have a 15-year age gap, it doesn’t stop them from being themselves and enjoying each other’s company.
Unlike other celebrities who married for financial stability or career growth, Heart claimed that she’s satisfied with her marriage with her partner:
“What’s nice about us is that we weren’t pretending to be a certain way when we got married. We’re just ourselves. So when the reality of marriage really happened, there was really no adjustment. I really enjoy being married.”
After a few years under their belt as a married couple, Heart Evangelista claimed that the “kilig” still hasn’t evaporated. The two always feels like they are still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship with simple, sweet gestures.
When asked the last thing Chiz did that made her heart flutter, the actress answered with:
“He didn’t have to because I had a meeting in the house and he had nothing to do with it. But he cooked Japanese fried rice, and it was really good, so I really appreciate it.”
