It seems like the former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) star Devon Seron has been full of surprises lately. In May of last year, she made waves online when it surfaced that her film, “You with Me,” with two South Korean cuties were in the works—also, given the prominence of K-Pop (Korean Pop) or “Hallyu” fever in the country. She then astounded the netizens when she graced the recent Star Magic Ball with Jin Ju Hyeong, or one of her on-screen partners in the latest movie she top-billed.
Now, Devon has set the internet abuzz once again after Star Magic declared her transfer to the Kapuso network. The viewers were taken aback when she appeared in the trailer of “The One That Got Away.” The 24-year-old’s former handler revealed this news which occurred on Wednesday, March 7. The management added that she bid farewell on February 16.
Devon, who hails from Cebu, first earned her fame when she entered the country’s most popular crib. She was then declared as the PBB: Teen Clash 2010’s 4th placer, while it can be recalled that the Kapamilya heartthrob James Reid won that season. The two were also featured as a love team for a while, and starred in the youth-oriented show “Good Vibes” in 2011 with fellow young stars way back such as Enrique Gil and Sam Concepcion.
The PBB alum also appeared in Angelito: Batang Ama (2011), Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto (2012), Maria Mercedes (2013), Moon of Desire (2014), Forevermore (2014), at Be My Lady (2016). Devon’s last project was in the romantic-comedy film “You with Me,” with South Korean actors Hyun Woo and Jin Ju Hyeong.
